Pramod Joshi
Pramod is a B Tech (EcE) from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, M Tech (EE) from IIT Kanpur and PGDM from IIM Bangalore, with the IOC Gold Medal for Best All Round Performance bestowed on him at the last named institution. More recently, he has submitted his PhD thesis to the Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi on the subject "Entrepreneurship Ecosystems in Higher Education Institutions in India".
He worked in the Tata Group, performing diverse management roles in Consulting, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing across countries like France, Mexico and USA, before returning to India in 1998.
After spending nearly 20 years in the Information Technology industry and rising to the level of Managing Director of a mid-size Indo-US software services company, he voluntarily left to pursue his passion of training and mentoring Indian youth, to make them better suited to the demands of industry and entrepreneurship.
He co-founded The Winning Mantra (known earlier as Career Plan North India) as a humble attempt at building the professionals who would shape the future of the world.
In his second innings, he has devoted time and efforts to help improve Indian Higher Education, guiding and advising a few universities, engineering colleges and business schools. He has co-founded 3 startups and also mentored several more in their early stages.
He is a sought after speaker/moderator at conferences/seminars on higher education, careers, entrepreneurship and leadership. In his spare time, he loves to read, write, play a variety of sports, travel, cook and laugh at the quirks of life.
